The Mugello Circuit will host in the first week end of July Ferrari Challenge that run its third round of the Italian and European series of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli at the Hockenheim circuit in Germany. This weekend over forty F430 cars entered in the Ferrari one-make championship took to the track in spectacular races with plenty of overtaking. The Italian series of the Trofeo Pirelli is at its third event of this Championship and, in Race 1, victory went to Andrea Belluzzi (Motor Modena) ahead of Stefano Gai (Rossocorsa) and Lorenzo Casè (Motor Piacenza). In the second leg, first across the line was Stefano Gai (Rossocorsa) followed home by Riccardo Ragazzi (Ineco MP) and Andrea Belluzzi (Motor Modena) in second and third places respectively. Of the gentleman drivers competing in the Coppa Shell, Andrea Rizzoli (Motor Piacenza) took the win ahead of Sergio Rota (Motor Piacenza) and Tommaso Rocca (Rossocorsa), while first to see the chequered flag in Race 2 was Massimo Mantovani (Motor Malucelli) with Vincenzo Sauto (Ineco MP) second and Flavio Pierleoni (Motor Malucelli) third.

Luca Conforti (Ducati) in Superbike;  Miroslav Popov (Aprilia) in 125 GP; Ferruccio Lamborghini (Yamaha)  600 Supersport; Fabio Massei in Stock 600  and Luca Verdini (Honda) in Stock 1000 are the winners of the fourth round of Italian Motorbike Championship hosted by Mugello Circuit.

Luca Conforti ( Ducati ) is the winner of Superbike race, third round of Italian Motorbike Championship (CIV). Stefano Cruciani and Alessandro Polita, Conforti's teammate, are second and third.  In 125 GP with its victory Miroslav Popov (Aprilia) is the leader of the classification. Ferruccio Lamborghini (Yamaha) 600 Supersport; Fabio Massei (Yamaha) in Stock 600 and Luca Verdini (Honda) in Stock 1000 the other winners. 
Tomorrow new race day with  warm up of all the five classes of CIV at 9am; than at 11 am three races of  Yamaha trophy and  at1.40 pm the fourth round del CIV.

In the qualifying session of today provisional pole position in Sbk for Federico Sandi (Aprilia - Gabrielli Michelin Racing Team) with 1’52”910 while in 125 Gp the fastest was Alessandro Tonucci Aprilia Junior Gp Racing Dream (2’01”696). Ferruccio Lamborghini (Yamaha – Media Action by Prorace, 1’54”927) in Supersportand  Fabio Massei, 1’57”269, in Stock 600 with Yamaha  Team Piellemoto. Marco Muzio,  Stock 1000 in 1’55”266 was the fastest.

A week end with two race-days, on saturday 19th and sunday 20th for the Italian Motorbike Championship that will be hosted by our circuit.
A very strong effort for team, riders and staff, but a double joy for the fanswho can enjoy track and paddock for a very special week end.

In June, 19th and 20th COOPI  - an independent and lay Non Governmental Organization (NGO) that fights against any kind of poverty to make the world a better place - will be at the Mugello Circuit during the tuscany round of Motorbike Italian Championship to promote "Africa 16mila", charity trip of the bikers of Moto4peace.
Supporting a population through a voyage going for a ride. This is the aim for COOPI in co-operation with MotoForPeace. It's Africa 16000 and the name intendes to rembere hom nmany km the bikers will cover along tha African continent

What a passion sunday with thousands of fans for the Vintage Exhbition and more than 900 cyclists for the 'MugelloCicloTour'. Spare parts, old bikes and cars, it was possible to find all you wanted in the hundreds of stands you could see in the paddock or inside the garages. A very successful event for 'Svarvolati Mugellani' (the organizers) after the good results of last november.
In the early moring of sunday all tha cyclists of CicloTourMugello made one laps of the track before going inside the town of the Mugello valley.

 

Hundreds of exhibitors will partecipate in Junem, 11th and 12th, to the 'Mostra scambio' a special event fully dedicated to old cars, bikes and spare parts. A vintage festival under the organization of Svarvolati Mugellani, with the cooperation of Mugello Circuit, under the aegis of the city of Scarperia and the Province of Florence. Alfa Romeo cars,  farm tractors and old bikes will be in the paddock of the circuit. It will be possible, Saturday (with bikes) and Sunday (cars) make free practices (please contact www.promoracing.com) or driving a rent-kart in the Mugellino, always inside the circuit (www.ilmugellino.it).
